10th Grade:

  • Talk with your guidance counselor about available Honors courses and your eligibility
  • Take challenging classes in core academic subjects – sophomore grades are critical on college applications
  • Continue your involvement in school and community-based activities
  • Sophomores and parents may meet with college representatives who visit the DCA campus during the fall semester
  • All sophomores take the PSAT in October
  • Begin to visit colleges over Christmas and Easter break
  • Attend the College Financial Aid Night in September
  • Attend the Academic Review in January
