School-wide Activities

Each year students run laps and raise money for school programs in the annual Walk-a-thon. Students earn amazing incentives along the way such as Donut Day, Pajama Day, Free Dress Days, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland and more!

Each year we invite our grandparents to share a day with us. We have an assembly that honors grandparents with various awards, and students perform a series of square dances. Grandparents visit classrooms and enjoy refreshments with their class.

Every year we celebrate our rich, colonial heritage. The DCA community is invited to join our annual Harvest Festival which includes activities, games, craft vendors, food trucks, chili cook-off, pie eating contest and more!

All students participate as part of the choir in our annual Christmas program. These programs include music as well as solo and acting opportunities.

One of our favorite elementary traditions is Snow Day. Each year, on the last day of school before Christmas vacation one of our fields is transformed into a winter wonderland when a giant snow hill is created for some fun winter sledding.  We thank our WatchDOGS for hosting this incredible event.

We love to spend special time with our dads. On this special morning, our students invite their dads to come to school and enjoy a donut or two. 

Moms enjoy sweet time with their children. On this occasion, our elementary moms start the day on campus with a special prayer time, conversation, and muffins.

Everyone loves a fun day to run, jump, and play. Olympic Field Day is just that.  Our students participate in a full day of track and field activities and the best of the best are awarded at the end of the day. It is a blessing to celebrate the gifts that the Lord has given to us. 

Students have fun during our special spirit week. Each day that week they participate in themed dress up days!

Our Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at Stuff Pizza. Proceeds support Snow Day and Water Day.

Our elementary has the opportunity to earn amazing reward trips through our Walk-A-Thon that includes a day at Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland.
